Highland Park scotch’s three most important words associated with the creation of unconventional, distinctly balanced single malts are patience, patience, and patience. Created using a high proportion of first-fill sherry seasoned European oak casks, and bottled at 47.5% ABV, this 40-Year-Old is a testament to patience. Highland Park scotch Highly complex and beautifully balanced, this single malt exhibits aromatic layers of smoke yielding to delicately sweet notes of toffee, dark chocolate, and candied lemon. This whisky was described in Whisky Magazine as “an incredibly well drinking Highland Park… sharing some of the 18 Year Old’s refinement but taking it into a different league.”
